Auditions for the Metropolitan Opera’s 2008/2009 production of SONNAMBULA will be as follows:

Wednesday, April 16 , 2008

                    Beginning at    3 P.M. – 6 P.M. *AGMA WOMEN AND MEN

Thursday, April 17, 2008     

                    Beginning at  3 P.M. – 6 P.M. * -OPEN CALL WOMEN AND MEN

Friday,  April 18, 2008                    

                    Beginning at    3 P.M. – 6 P. M. *   CALL BACKS

 *Stop times are approximate.

Daniel Pelzig, the choreographer, is looking for well trained dancers with acting experience and improvisatory skills.  Choreography will be a blend of ballet, contemporary and traditional folk dance forms.  Women should bring both heels and flats.  Men should bring knee pads.

In order to fulfill this engagement you would need to be available for rehearsals beginning January 22, 2009  through the final dress scheduled for February 27, and as needed; and  for performances scheduled for: March 2, 6, 11, 14 18, 21 matinee, 24, 28, and April 3, 2009.

Please enter the Metropolitan Opera (Lincoln Center) through the Concourse doors into Founders’ Hall. Auditions will be held in C19, dance studio.

If you are an AGMA member please bring your VALID AGMA membership card with you.  Please also bring a photo resume with you to the audition.
