WASHINGTON, Dec. 20, 2018—Arts, entertainment, and media unions affiliated with the Department for Professional Employees, AFL-CIO (DPE) are committed to taking joint action to combat workplace harassment. Nine of the unions met on December 13, 2018 and pledged to share contract language, training resources, codes of conduct, and best practices to strengthen the individual efforts of each union to continue improving their industries. Please remember that 2019 dues are due and payable by January 1, 2019. Failure to pay them by that date will result in your being in arrears.  If 2019 basic dues are not paid prior to February 1, you will be suspended and will be required to pay a reinstatement fee of $250.00 in order to be returned to good standing.
