AGMA Ratifies 3-Year Agreement with Lyric Opera of Kansas City

The new collective bargaining agreement between AGMA and Lyric Opera of Kansas City was approved by AGMA leadership, after being overwhelmingly ratified by the shop. Thank you to the negotiating committee and congratulations on this 3-year agreement! The following communication from President Ray Menard was emailed to AGMA members in good standing on November 11, 2022. 2023 is right around the corner and with the arrival of a new year comes the time to remit our 2023 AGMA Basic Annual Dues. This week AGMA members will be receiving 2023 Basic Dues Statements. This upcoming year is also an ELECTION YEAR for AGMA! In May 2023, AGMA members will elect National Officers and Governors to represent them on AGMA’s Board of Governors. LEAP Program Announces November 6 “Sneak Peak”

The Liberal Education for Arts Professionals (LEAP) Program provides professional dancers and other performing artists a unique path to access higher education – an opportunity to earn college credit for their dance experience. Founded in 1999, The LEAP Program is specifically designed to deliver a comprehensive liberal arts education to professional dancers and performing artists from around the country, with the goal of completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts from Saint Mary's College of California through part-time study.
