Ballots for the AGMA Officers and Board of Governors election will be mailed to members in good standing on April 22, 2019. A draft of the envelope that will be sent to you by mail and the voting instructions that will appear on the ballot are printed on the following pages.
If you will not be at your home address between April 22 and May 10, 2019 (the balloting period), please go to the AGMA members-only portal (MyAGMA) and change your address to the address where you will be during that time period. Alternatively, you may call the Membership Department at 212-265-3687 to update your address. Changes of address must be done before April 15, 2019, which is the date that the database will be provided to the election vendor. Please remember to change back your address, if necessary, after April 15, 2019.
In order to maintain ballot secrecy, when you fill out your ballot, please make sure that you do not make any markings on your ballot, such as your name or initials, which would reveal your identity. Additionally, do not remove or block out the name, address and barcode that appear on the reverse side of the return envelope. At the ballot count, once the election firm has verified that you are a member in good standing, the return envelope will be separated from the secret ballot envelope, ensuring that no one will be able to identify the member whose ballot is enclosed in the secret ballot envelope.
