Performances at the Kennedy Center Opera House

 

12 Corps Dancers needed (7 women and 5 men—divisi subject to change)

Dancers should have strong ballet and contemporary technique. Partnering and overhead lifts will be incorporated into the choreography.

Dancers may work with props and/or weapons. Dancers should be comfortable in little or revealing costumes. Men may be shirtless.

Please bring ballet slippers and form fitting clothing that shows the body and dance line.

 

Rehearsals begin on or about February 4, 2020

Technical rehearsals begin February 25, 2020

Performance dates are March 1m, 4, 7, 13, 16, and 21, 2020

Rehearsals will take place at the Washington National Opera Studio.

Dancers should report to the Washington National Opera Studio, 6925 Willow St. NW, Washington, DC 20012. To reach the Washington National Opera Studio, go to the 3rd floor of the building; directions will be posted.

Dancers must arrive by the appropriate Registration time listed above, i.e. at least one hour prior to the scheduled Audition time, in order to complete the application process.*
