Washington National Opera announces dance auditions for its 2018-2019 production of Eugene Onegin

10 Corps Dancers needed (5 men and 5 women)

Dancers should have a strong ballet and contemporary background. Partnering and lifts are a must and dancers may work with props.

Please bring ballet slippers and character shoes (heels of any height) and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that shows the dance line. Rehearsal skirts for ladies are optional.

Rehearsals begin on or about February 8, 2019
Technical rehearsals begin February 26, 2019
Performance dates are March 9, 17m, 20, 23, 25, and 29, 2019

Rehearsals will take place at the Washington National Opera Studio.

Dancers should report to the Washington National Opera Studio, 6925 Willow St. NW, Washington, DC 20012. To reach the Washington National Opera Studio, go to the 3rd floor of the building; directions will be posted.

Dancers must arrive at least one hour prior to the scheduled audition time in order to complete the application process.*
