To audition, you must show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and proof of either an FDA Approved Antigen Test taken the day of the audition OR a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of your audition appointment time.

7 Corps Dancers needed (4 men and 3 women—divisi tentative and subject to change)
Dancers should have strong Modern and/or Classical technique training and enjoy working collaboratively; tap dance skills a plus but not mandatory nor necessary to audition.
Some partnering will be involved and dancers may work with props.
Please bring sneakers or character shoes and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing. Those with tap dance skills maybe bring soft tap shoes.
Rehearsals begin on or about April 17, 2023.
Technical rehearsals begin May 5, 2023.*
Performance dates are May 13, 14m, 15, 19, 21m, 24, 26, 27, 2023.
*Piano Tech #1 is currently scheduled for the afternoon of Friday, May 5, 2023.
Rehearsals will take place at the Washington National Opera Studio in Takoma.

Dancers must arrive by the appropriate Registration time listed above, i.e. at least one hour prior to the scheduled Audition time, in order to complete the application process.*
