AGMA is proud to share that the Union’s Board of Governors has unanimously approved a new strategic plan: the AGMA 2026 & Beyond Strategic Action Plan.
This plan is a roadmap for where the Union is headed and how we will get there, built around eight core planks that reflect both the challenges we face and the opportunities ahead:
- Organizing and Collective Bargaining
- Industry Challenges and the Future of Arts Funding (FOAF)
- Health: including workplace health and safety, access to health care, and the AGMA Health and Retirement Fund
- I.D.E.A.
- From AGMA’s 90th Anniversary to our 100th, securing AGMA’s future
- Communications
- Training and Development
- Budget, Finance and Operations
Together, these priorities position us to strengthen AGMA, advocate more powerfully, and build a more sustainable future for all AGMA artists.
We are excited to begin this work and involve our members. More details on each plank will be shared at an upcoming State of the Union (SOTU). The date of the SOTU will be announced once confirmed, with timing expected toward the beginning of May.
