For 90 years, AGMA members have shaped the performing arts through extraordinary artistry, unwavering dedication, and collective action. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re launching a special limited-run email newsletter series highlighting the voices and experiences of the members who have made, and continue to make, our union what it is today. We invite all members in good standing to share their story. Members: What’s your story with AGMA? Maybe you’re serving on your first Negotiating Committee, or your twentieth. Perhaps you’re a Delegate, a Board member, a Caucus leader, or a member who simply shows up when they can and stays engaged. Were you part of AGMA’s 50th Anniversary? Our 75th? Did you join in 2020? Did you just win your first union contract? Do you have photos, programs, newsletters, memorabilia, or other archival materials from your time with the union? What does the future of AGMA look like to you? Help us preserve AGMA’s history by sharing the memories and milestones that have shaped your experience. Whether you’ve been an AGMA member for decades or joined more recently, we hope you submit a story! Selected submissions will be featured in this special anniversary email series, which will be shared with thousands of AGMA members and staff throughout our 90th Anniversary celebration. The collection will also be published on the AGMA website. Submissions are currently open on a rolling basis. The sooner you submit, the sooner your story can be featured in the series. |
