The American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) is once again opening its doors this New York Opera Audition Season, offering artists a safe, supportive home base during designated audition weeks.
You don’t need to be a member of AGMA to use our space!
Recognizing the challenges of spending long days and weeks in the City during auditions, AGMA invites artists from around the country—members and prospective members alike—to find a warm, welcoming place to land at our National Office, just a TWO-MINUTE WALK from OPERA America.
During the following weeks, auditioners are welcome to relax and recharge (both minds and devices!) in our comfortable office space:
- October 13 – 16 (Tuesday-Friday, 10 am ET – 5 pm ET)
- October 17 (Saturday, 11 am ET – 4 pm ET)
- November 30 – December 4 (Monday-Friday, 10 am ET – 5 pm ET)
- December 7 – 11 (Monday-Friday, 10 am ET – 5 pm ET)
With hot and cold beverages, snacks, access to bathrooms, a place to change with a full-length mirror, and secure luggage storage, AGMA is here to make audition season a little more manageable and inviting.
