A Message from the AGMA President About 2026 Basic Annual Dues

November 20, 2025

With the new year approaching, it’s almost time for us AGMA members to submit our 2026 Basic Annual Dues. In the coming days, AGMA members will receive our dues statement for the year ahead.

I’ve been an AGMA member since 2009, and as President, I still proudly pay my dues—just like every one of us who wishes to remain in good standing. Staying current on payments and installment plans ensures that members can fully participate in our Union. That means engaging in negotiations, attending caucus and committee meetings, accessing MyAGMA, receiving vital communications, and voting, nominating, or running in AGMA elections.

Talking about dues isn’t the most glamorous part of our work, but it is one of the most important. Our dues are what keep AGMA independent, strong, and accountable only to our members. Because of this collective strength, AGMA has continued to make a national impact–defending artists’ rights across the country and advancing meaningful protections for AGMA Artists.

From our Board of Governors, Area Committees, Caucuses, Negotiating Committees, Delegates, all the way to our newest members, AGMA Artists on the ground continue to drive this momentum, supported by a dedicated professional staff and a more streamlined, connected Union than ever before.

None of this progress is possible without dues.

The end of the year will come quickly. You will be receiving plenty of communications regarding dues. Please take a moment to ensure your dues are up to date as we head into 2026 together.

Solidarity Forever!

Ned Hanlon, AGMA President
