AGMA Announces Tracy Jones as Director of Collective Bargaining

April 17, 2025

The American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) announces the promotion of Tracy Jones (she/her) to the newly created position of Director of Collective Bargaining, effective April 7, 2025.

In this pivotal new role, Jones will spearhead the development of strategies to create more streamlined and cohesive approaches to bargaining across the Union, with an eye toward the long-term goal of advancing multi-employer bargaining. She will also focus on standardizing AGMA’s Collective Bargaining Agreements, further developing AGMA’s Bargaining Priorities, and strengthening training initiatives for both staff and member leaders around the collective bargaining process. In addition, Jones will lead the creation of AGMA’s first-ever collective bargaining playbook.

“I am deeply honored to step into this new role within AGMA. Over the past seven years, it has been a true privilege to advocate for our remarkable members—first as a Business Representative and, most recently, as a Senior Negotiator—working to strengthen their rights and amplify their collective voice,” said Jones, a former AGMA Dancer herself. “As I take on this brand-new role, I am excited for the opportunity to help shape a future-focused vision for AGMA’s bargaining efforts. I look forward to advancing a more streamlined approach to negotiations and to supporting our dedicated staff and member leaders every step of the way.”

Jeffrey Boyd, National Executive Director of AGMA, shared his enthusiasm about the appointment: “Tracy’s leadership, depth of experience and knowledge, and passion for advocating on behalf of AGMA’s members make her the perfect fit for this critical new position. As Director of Collective Bargaining, she will play an essential role in driving strategic growth, ensuring consistency, and reinforcing AGMA’s commitment to achieving strong, lasting contracts and protections for our members.”

AGMA congratulates Tracy Jones on this well-deserved promotion and looks forward to the positive impact her leadership will bring to AGMA’s bargaining efforts nationwide.
