Highlights from AGMA’s New Three-Year Agreement with Nevada Ballet Theatre

AGMA’s new three-year agreement with Nevada Ballet Theatre was approved by AGMA members and ratified by AGMA’s Board of Governors on August 25, 2025. Check out the joint release here.

Dancers secured significant pay raises across the company, fairer promotion pathways, stronger protections around rehearsal and performance conditions, and expanded benefits that support them both on and off the stage. CONTRACT HIGHLIGHTS

Wage Increases

Dancers across all ranks will see some of the biggest wage increases in NBT and AGMA history, ensuring meaningful growth for everyone.

Better Protections & Work-Life Balance

  • Tech Week rehearsals limited to that production only
  • Rehearsal changes now require unanimous agreement from all Artists involved
  • Guaranteed studio rehearsal for every role, even school shows
  • Clearer, earlier schedules and cast lists
  • Free Days protected: no more than 7 days straight without a day off—otherwise dancers earn 1/5 of their salary extra per day

Health, Safety & Support

  • Raise in Risk Pay
  • Sick days increased
  • Onstage company class capped at 75 minutes, with extra time for dancers to use the stage afterward
  • Safer, clearer role assignments for revivals and premieres
