Today, on May Day (International Workers’ Day), AGMA proudly stands in solidarity with workers worldwide who are demanding dignity, safety, fair wages, and inclusion.
AGMA Artists give endlessly to their communities—onstage, behind the scenes, and in everyday life. We are workers. We are union members. And we are part of a global movement that believes in the power of collective action.
On this day of unity and reflection, we honor the generations of union performing artists who came before us, those standing shoulder to shoulder with us today, and those who will carry this fight into the future. Together, we imagine a world where the Arts can truly thrive because artists and all workers are treated with respect.
