AGMA Chorister Caucus Announces Meeting and Survey

All AGMA Choristers in good standing are invited to attend the upcoming Opera and Concert Choristers Caucus (OCCC) meeting on Monday, August 9, at 6:00 p.m. ET. During this meeting, the Caucus will discuss the responses to the OCCC National Bargaining Priorities Survey that was emailed to AGMA Choristers yesterday. Petition to Pass the PRO Act: Add Your Name

AGMA has joined the AFL-CIO and its affiliates on this petition. We encourage our members to add their names in support of the PRO Act! Our outdated labor laws have been chipped away and weakened by anti-worker legislators. Every day, we hear about corporations openly union-busting and retaliating against working people without consequence. In short, the PRO Act is the most important piece of worker empowerment legislation since the Great Depression. The PRO Act doesn’t stop anyone from doing freelance work. It protects freelancers’ rights to organize and collectively bargain if they choose to.
