Donald P. Cavanaugh (he/him/his), CPA, MBA, CGMA, is AGMA’s Chief Financial Officer. Donald joined the Union in June of 2019. With more than 35 years of leadership experience, he has devoted most of his career to the not-for-profit sector.
Prior to AGMA, he was the Director of Finance of The Yale Club of New York City, a large private membership club, and Executive Director of its Foundation. In addition, he held various Financial and Administration leadership roles at the American Bible Society. Prior to that, Donald was in public accounting, where he assisted labor unions as well as a wide range of industries.
Donald holds an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, and is a graduate of Kings College, where he received his Accounting and Business Administration degrees. He is a certified public accountant in New York and Pennsylvania and holds a designation as a Charter Global Management Accountant. He is actively involved in the community, serving as a trustee, treasurer, committee member, and volunteer for various charities.
