OPERA PHILADELPHIA CHORUS AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Opera Philadelphia will hold auditions for experienced singers interested in joining our chorus; there are openings in all voice categories for the 2022-2023 Season.
The Opera Philadelphia Chorus does not offer housing or transportation, so singers must reside in the greater Philadelphia area.
Auditions will be held Thursday 4/28 and Saturday 5/7 in the Rehearsal Hall of the Academy of Music, Philadelphia.
Audition requirements include three memorized opera arias and a demonstration of sightreading abilities; an accompanist will be provided.
To be considered for an audition, please submit your resumé and recent audio or video recording to chorus@operaphila.org. The deadline to apply for an audition is Friday 4/1, or when all auditions appointments are full.
All applicants invited to audition will be required to show proof that they are up to date on their COVID-19 vaccines.
