OPERA PHILADELPHIA CHORUS AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Auditions for the 2023-2024 Opera Philadelphia Chorus will be held April 22 and 27, 2023.
The following productions will include chorus:
10 Days in a Madhouse (SA only)
Simon Boccanegra (SATB)
The Anonymous Lover (SATB)
Madame Butterfly (SAT only)
To be considered for an audition, please submit a recent recording; your resume, CV or other description of your musical training and experiences; and a recent photo to chorus@operaphila.org.
Auditions will be scheduled by email on a rolling basis until all slots are filled. Singers must be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations in order to audition, and there are auditions available for all voice parts.
Please note: Due to upcoming negotiations, compensation rates are TBD. For reference, the chorus rates for 2022-2023 season are:
Hourly Rehearsal: $24.54-$28.16
Performance Fee: $142.14-$217.26
