The San Francisco Symphony Artistic Staff will hear auditions in April & May to fill openings in the San Francisco Symphony Chorus for the 2023-24 season. There are limited non-AGMA volunteer and AGMA openings.

SFSC will be auditioning for potentially both full-time and substitute positions. Fulltime singers would be salaried & W-2’ed and substitutes would be compensated per program (1099). Pay rates for next season are pending upcoming negotiations. 2022-2023 Season Minimum Base Compensation for full-time choristers is $21,621.06/year which includes 26 performances and 56 rehearsals. Minimum compensation rate for additional performances or rehearsals and for substitute choristers is $69.14/rehearsal hour and $310.37/per performance.
