The Dallas Opera is seeking 5 singers for its Regular Chorus beginning with the 2023/2024 Season.
All voice types are welcome to apply.
Applicants will also be considered for the Auxiliary Chorus.
Please be advised that all choristers must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Audition Requirements
Applicants must have two memorized selections to offer, including one aria or art song in a foreign language; preferably Italian, French, German, or Russian. One of the two selections offered may be in English if you feel it shows your voice to better advantage. You may also be asked to sight-read or perform a rhythm exercise. An accompanist will be provided but will not be available to rehearse with you prior to your audition. We ask you provide legible hard copies of your selections in the correct key for the pianist.
Compensation
Rates are for the 2023/2024 season.
$25.60 per rehearsal hour
$230.25 per performance
