Washington National Opera will hold chorus auditions for the 2023-2024 Season productions on January 11, 15, 17, and 21, 2023.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
To audition, you must show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and proof of either an FDA Approved Antigen Test taken the day of the audition
OR a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of your audition appointment time.
Audition times are:
Wednesday, January 11, 2023; 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, January 15, 2023; 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday January 17, 2023; 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, January 21, 2023; 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
No auditions will be heard without an appointment.
- Singers are asked to bring two (2) operatic arias: one in Italian and another in any language of their choice (including Italian or English).
- WNO reserves the right to hear only specific portions of any selection offered.
- Please bring music for the accompanist, who will be provided. Singers may use their own accompanist if they prefer. Accompanist must also show proof of vaccination to enter.
- Singers may be asked to sight read music.
- No headshot or résumé required.

Singers should report to Washington National Opera Studio at 6925 Willow Street NW, Washington DC 20012 one half hour prior to their scheduled audition time in order to complete the application process. Upon arrival, take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
