The Martha Graham Dance Company is seeking professional dancers to perform the traditional male roles of the Graham classics as well as new works by today’s choreographers. Applicants must have a strong command of current concert dance styles, ballet, and Graham Technique. Selected dancers will be offered between 8 and 29 weeks of work for the Company’s 2024-2025 Season, and will be required to become members of the American Guild of Musical Artists AFL-CIO. Graham salaries begin at $720/week and are commensurate with AGMA union contracts. Selected dancers will be offered between 10 and 28 weeks of work for the Company’s 2023-2024 Season, must be able to legally work in the USA, and must become members of the American Guild of Musical Artists AFL-CIO. Salaries will range from $650 and $975 per week. Anna Peabody, Senior Negotiator, Professional Bio

Anna Peabody (she/her) first joined AGMA’s Professional Staff as a Business Representative in February 2022. In April 2024, she was promoted to Senior Negotiator. Originally from Pasadena, Maryland, Peabody connected with the Arts early on, starting dance classes at age three. She spent her high school years at the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland and her summers studying at the Boston Ballet and Chautauqua Institution. Following high school, Peabody began studying ballet at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Ballet with an Outside Field in Elementary Education.
