Back in August, the Stage Managers’ Association (SMA) announced that AGMA President Ray Menard will be one of three distinguished 2022 recipients of the Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management. The Del Hughes Awards Event will take place on Monday, October 24, 2022, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. ET. Corporate, event, and theatrical stage manager Andrew Feigin and theatrical stage manager Bernita Robinson are also being honored alongside President Menard. National Director of Health Services for the Entertainment Community Fund Renata Marinaro, LMSW, will present and answer questions. Marinaro has dedicated her career to counseling professionals in the entertainment and performing arts industry nationwide on healthcare coverage options. 10/11/2022 - With an overwhelming majority of support, the Dancers of Saint Louis Ballet have signed cards to form a union and join the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA). “Dancers are extraordinarily dedicated artists and deserve to have a voice in their working lives.
