Join AGMA at the NYC Labor Day Parade

The 2022 NYC Labor Day Parade is Saturday, September 10! The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. ET at Fifth Avenue & 44th Street. Any AGMA members in the area who plan to walk with AGMA leadership, staff, and fellow members in the parade should fill out this form by September 8. This way, AGMA can plan for your arrival and make sure we have enough AGMA buttons to go around. AGMA's meeting location is East 44th Street between Madison Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue. Arrive around 9:15 a.m. ET for coffee and to get organized! AGMA Ratifies 3-Year Agreement with The Washington Ballet

The new collective bargaining agreement between AGMA and The Washington Ballet was ratified by AGMA leadership, after being overwhelmingly approved by the shop. There have been multiple additions and enhancements to the contract language, including improvements under compensation and benefits and new anti-harassment and anti-discrimination language. AGMA President Receives the Del Hughes Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management

The Stage Managers’ Association (SMA) has announced its annual Del Hughes Awards for Lifetime Achievement in the Art of Stage Management. AGMA members are invited to join AGMA and the New York Labor Movement at the 2022 NYC Labor Day Parade on Saturday, September 10! The parade kicks off at 10:00 a.m. at Fifth Avenue & 44th Street. AGMA leaders, staff, and members will walk proudly in the parade behind our brand-new union banner for the first time since summer 2019. Any AGMA members in the area are invited to walk with their union.
