Today is Trans Day of Visibility, a day to celebrate trans and non-binary people and raise awareness of discrimination faced by trans people worldwide. To date this year, lawmakers in the United States have introduced 434 dangerous, misguided bills that restrict fundamental needs of LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly trans youth, including healthcare. In the coming days, we will be sharing information with our full membership as to how AGMA members can fight back and stand up for the trans and non-binary members of their communities. For today, we want trans and non-binary artists and friends to know that AGMA stands with you. You deserve the human right to live a safe and inclusive life, free of hate and filled with love.
