The American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) is pleased to announce that the Artists of Opera Colorado have won their union!
The Artists fought vigilantly for six months to win their union. After prevailing in a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearing in October, an immediate mail ballot election was ordered by the NLRB, with the vote count taking place on Monday, November 20. Given the results, OC management must recognize AGMA as the exclusive bargaining representative of the Artists.

Negotiations for a first contract are expected to commence shortly. Opera Colorado’s upcoming productions include Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman and Saint-Saëns’ Samson and Delilah.
