The Met AGMA Negotiating Committee invites you to the
Met/AGMA Tentative Agreement Info Session

News of a tentative agreement with the Metropolitan Opera was announced on May 11. All AGMA Artists in good standing who were contracted at the Met since September 2018 or have contracts at the Met for future seasons are encouraged to join our info session on this tentative agreement on Monday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom details leading up to the event. The deadline to register is Monday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. ET. This info session is designed to:
- Describe the process (Why we bargained early, what the Met’s initial asks were…)
- Explain how the negotiations played out (It was a 14-week process!)
- Outline terms of the deal (Go through the tentative agreement(s) from the whole bargaining unit as well as from each workgroup)
- Share why the Committee recommends ratification
Following this info session, there will be a number of follow-up meetings for working groups of Met Artists between Tuesday, May 25, and Friday, May 28, to discuss the agreement within each group and answer questions. Specific dates and times will be shared with Met Artists soon.
